Digital Rail: 1. Help center no to file complain and suggetion. 2. Mobile Apps to capture and record the un-usual activities and send to consern department to take quick action. 3. Motivate railways karmcharies to how to behave with passengers. 4. Improve the quality and quantity of TTE and Police forces. 5. Strick action against corrupt TTE and police. 6. Make flexibilty of trains coaches. WE ARE REALLY FACING A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH RAILWAY WHILE TRAVELLING TO EASTERN PART OF INDIA.

To improve the efficiency of railways with better speed and frequency we must first stop persons and animals from coming on the railway tracks. In order to achieve this all railway lines should be out of bounds for persons and those trespassing should be heavily fined. Just as fast moving planes cannot land on airstrip with persons or animals, the speed of our trains cannot be increased under present circumstances, specially when we are talking about bullet trains.

When i was in my college i thought of designing a Handheld Device for Railway TTE. I identified some of the key points to be included in such a device. I hereby list them >The device must have connectivity with the online passenger reservation system >The device must have a synchronized clock >GPS for tracking location >A built in bar code scanner >Credit/Debit card swiping facility >Built in printer We can automate ticket checking process and introduce on spot reservation service

TTE on long distance should be equipped with digital device for checking the tickets for reserved compartments and it should be linked to central servers. This should ensure real time feed to server if any passenger with confirmed seat does not travels. Such seats can then automatically be allotted to the passenger traveling with RAC tickets. And an sms notification can be sent to inform the passenger about the coach and seat number. Current manual system is rusty at its best.

Design of toilets in long distance trains needs to be changed. Railways should use toilets with storage system similar to the one used in aircrafts so that waste are not dumped on the tracks directly. This not only makes tracks dirty, but when trains passes from an over bridge the waste directly falls on the traffic passing under the over bridge. This needs urgent attention and can be achieved using existing technologies.

Over the years railways has come a long way in improving the usage of technology for providing better services. One aspect that needs to be addressed in current times is connectivity on the move. There are many trains which runs for 24+ hrs. Such Trains should be equipped with wifi networks to provide connectivity to passengers on such long routes. This can be achieved by using the existing high speed rail net system. This will go a long way in improving travel experience on long distance travel
