An app should be devised which gives information about railways by voice message so that one need not read the message. Also this app should keep updating the information on its own from time to time so that one need not log in again and again for updated information.

Honorable sir, We don't need to spend a lot of money in importing bullet train technology, we can develop it in India. In fact we should leapfrog this technology and develop the "Hyperloop Train" technology visualized by Mr Elon Musk of Tesla Motors in USA. We can then export this technology to other countries and use it in India too.

To handle the volume of people travelling from one place to another, we need to have speed train. For that we can have upgraded engines. And need to have barriers in entire train route. I know having barrier in entire train route, seems difficult due to man power, but it is possible as man power in India is always a surplus. Our ticketing system is pretty well digitized. I really appreciate the IRCTC website & IRCTC connect apps which are providing a very good service at the moment.Using SMS as one's digital ticket is also brilliant; saves a lot of trees; very friendly to our environment. However, the ticketing system lacks seat selection by passenger. This facility will highly enhance the traveler experience. Only waiting list seats should be allotted by railways. Confirmed tickets must be allowed to choose a seat.

Mobile Apps should be made for different operating systems like Windows, Android, Jawa etc., for booking Platform tickets on mobile. After booking, SMS of Digital Platform Ticket should be sent to the provided no. of booking person. This Digital receipt should be taken as granted and should be valid for the period decided by the Railways. Automatic announcement inside trains and at the railway station should be introduced regarding arrival, next station, estimated time for the next station or train departs in "xx:xx" minutes @ the railway station. after certain time gap, train doors should automatically close at the railway station like we have in Delhi metro. This will improve security inside and outside the train.
