4. Free travel passes to existing and retired employees and their families, in itself takes a big toll on the finance of railways. Budgets may be better managed by addressing this.

3. I just read about the Roll on and Roll off facility being used in Konkan Railways. It’s simply amazing. This is the need of the hour. This may be extended across the country and will result in huge savings in petroleum products, minimizing traffic on highway. The real beneficiaries (the transporters, lorry drivers, cleaners etc) will feel happy from the bottom of the heart.

2. Railways passenger reservation system – a decade ago I submitted a proposal in Chennai railway office, to reduce time of people standing in queue to book journey tickets. I seek proper guidance from your end to resubmit and analyze the proposal. It is economical and feasible with data security, saving a huge amount of time for the end users and also generates employment to some extent. Once implemented, very huge amount of time for people can be saved and will benefit a lot by various means.

1. Actually Railways is one of the areas, where the government can really get the best support and appreciation from the hearts of the people. As it is the best safe mode of travel common man prefer in spite of several hardships during the journey.

The Indian Railways must adopt the concept of ""DOUBLE DECKER TRAINS"" for every trains running in india so that the people of India can travel easily,without sitting on the roof of the trains...... As only few trains has this facility......

All the Metro City Railway line (New Delhi, Kolkatta, Mumbai and Chennai) should be interlinked with double track lines by shortest route directly. The transportation of Passengers and goods will be done without any delay.

Have been traveling in UK, Europe a lot and have seen that the TT uses the SATLITE information system for booking the tickets and has instant availability of reservation . This will facilitate load reduction at booking window , prevent Money and fund leakages through malpractices used by TT. Also same system can be used for current booking in train and retiring room.

Respected Prime Minister, please take action regarding putting dustbins in the train. This will be a great help for great swacha bharat abhiyan
