Most of the youth working in MNCs in big cities like Bangalore etc are actually free during weekends and are actually ready for some volunteer work during weekends .If the govt can arrange for the transport facility say on friday evening from (say Bangalore ) to the nearby villages and back to Bangalore on Sunday evening ,then I believe most of the youths will participate and they can teach children in the villages and do other social works. And ideas for the development of villages will evolve.

those youths who have guts but they are not being provided opportunity to show their talent at emergency situations.. excessive discretionary power to the govt.servant causes barrier for self help youths.... sometime i think myself that i can help others , i can do something for the society.. but lack of power i could not move an inch..

Lets work towards making NCC mandatory in all aided and unaided schools. the HRD ministry must see this as a vital tool towards nation building. Many benefits for the youth and for ex-servicemen. Besides, it will develop a new generation who values national spirit and womens safety & equality. This can also be a great reserve for national emergencies

the government should be easily accessible, shorter roots to contact persons in power to execute a particular task should be developed. even if one posts something it is not sure it will be read. The society should raise its mind from individual to a wider level, should try to see own children in those who are trying to work for the society. NGOS have little to do because those NGOS who want to work genuinely do not get funds till they adopt manipulated approaches.

Organizations listed can't change the minds of today's youth unless they are grown up in such way or they must realize the importance of their participation towards their country by self.Sometimes awareness and advertisement on their indispensable need can bring about a change. There should not be any seperate NSS group.Every youth shall be called and equal participance in social service acts shall be made.Youth's active participation must be recognized and publicly appreciated. All lies in them .

Volunteering starts at home and we want all Indians to come together to make a difference. The organizations listed cannot comprehend the psychology of today's youth. The initiatives taken are appreciated but the youth can only be motivated when they can connect their ideas and the government should act rapidly to interpret it.The fact is everyone is willing to do their part but unless there is something really defining Volunteerism cannot be instilled only through single day, yearly programmes.

Corporates must make it mandatory for its employees to volunteer for some social cause. Employee must contribute certain hours out of his/her working schedule for social causes.
