The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Dear Sir, I am a govt employee and executing a contract of valued more than 1000 Crore as Project Manager. I had completed the tendering/contract cycle in less than year. I want to suggest that goverment procurement procedure and tender term & conditions shall be standardized and adition special conditions, which needs to put for the particular project/task as per its applicablity with approval of competent authority. It will cut the procurement cylcle and corrucpion in govt. procurement/contracts.

FEEDBACK FOR DEVELOPMENT OF MINING SECTOR : 1. Forest and Environmental Clearance applications should be finallised within three months. 2.Mining work should not be stopped on minor silly grounds. 3.Mineral Resources are national property, hence closed mines should be re-opened within six months and special care should be taken by govt. on closed mines .So that poor labur can be engaged. 4.Mining Laws should be pro-citizen and not for protecting citizen from their Erarning Sources. Check this

for next 10 years make entire industries tax free / least tax in village /urban of UP BIHAR, BENGAL and ORISSA. the only criteria should be that industry should be on non agriculture land it should not pollute the local area.waste management /project should run parallel with this project. . the industries should give preference to local people, this will stop migration and also reduce the problems of other cities.your govt should redirect all big projects for next ten years in these states..

our basic problem is huge untrained population . we have to convert this disadvantage into boon. i request you to look at the core of the problem, for next 10 year make education free whether basic or technical, increase no. of technical school. the best option is use same building for technical school which is used in day time for basic school. ie in day/morning shift - basic education and in afternoon/ night shift technical school. no need to invest in infra for school..... cont

undevelope states like Bihar, up, bengal ,ORISSA ,are way behind than other states. crores of people are migrating towards other cities and putting huge pressure on infrastructures, agriculture and core sector based projects can create huge job opportunity there, for that basic thing has to develop like more &more ITI school/ training centers in each district , skill training class from high school level ,business opportunity for small and medium udhyog.etc... will continue in next post

In my opinion the universities could play a major role in coming up with multiple short term courses for skill development. We need to bring the universities as an active player in providing knowledge to the society.
