The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, ...

The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.
 
Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Skill development ke lite gov. Ko IIT ke sath sath ITI per jyada dhyan dena chahiye.jis se job me kaam Karne wale samne ayenge .

Leave myopic and legacy way for 3G proliferation. Through MTNL, Government should inject 700 additional 3G base stations each in Delhi and Mumbai through budgetary support. Similarly, about 8500 additional 3G BTSs should be added through BSNL for 2 metros and 38 cities of > 1 million population by budget support even if they do not ask. This will promote broadband usage culture, innovative applications, make MTNL/BSNL viable, get more spectrum usage charges to government, and create many jobs.

A structure, which encourages innovation, provides opportunity, rewards merit and fairness. Some steps in this direction could be: ) Forming a Sector Skill Council for Mining/Mineral & Metallurgy 2) Identification of right skill for these sectors by roping in Indian School of Mines/CCL/CMPDIL/CIMFR 3) Preparing the coursework/training module for these skills for productivity, safety and environment 4) Roping in Private and Govt. ITI for the implementation of these modules 5) Quality Improvement

-Highly qualified team free from clutches of regionalism,castism,bhai bhatigabad,reservation, political and private player fixer,truly on goals to structure self developing mechanism to integrate and develop all mining skill requirements,to be headed by constitutionally created apex body covering all mining and exploration body[be it any organic or inorganic material beneath earth, liquid like petroleum under sea,air assets above earth and in space etc]. -Similar structure for other skills.

I THNK SIR our coal sector shuld be undertaken by private as wel as govt sector y im sayng thz becoz the private sector will work more effeciently when compared to govt sector and govt sector will make the import and export very effeciently whn compared to private sector..and monthly once coal mining status shuld be update to supreme court and as wel as home minsitry..if we do thz then their will be NO "COAL SCAM"

Modi ji, please delegate your work and show us that there are other efficient leaders in your party who can execute the vision. Skill development: In my recent trip to Munich, Germany I saw real examples of skill development. Children are trained from middle school in the field of interest. Lot of children are dropping in school due to lack of interest in learning theory that you just need biheart without understanding. This type of education has to be stopped. Practical and well guided industry experience is a must and we should sincerely follow Germany model as we killed our gurukul model and this model even if it exists isn't innovated all through these years and lost its application.
