Ministry of AYUSH organizes the International Day of Yoga, the purpose of this event is to highlight the fact that Yoga can contribute in a holistic way to achieving equilibrium between mind and body. This approach to health and wellbeing can make a direct and useful contribution to humankind's quest to achieve sustainable development and move towards lifestyles that are in harmony with nature.

In view of the forthcoming International Day of Yoga-2018 and to generate awareness about the benefits of yoga for the comprehensive well-being of Indian women in the "40 plus" age group, Ministry of AYUSH invites you to share your ideas through the MyGov platform.

yoga must be made as a compulsory subject in schools to make them fit enough physically and mentally. Especially woman of 35 + must be given special trainings and its a good idea to organise yoga campaign to protect their health from chronicle diseases

Yoga has been derived from sanskrit word YUJ which means "to join". Yoga basically deals in bridging our body and mind with our soul. A common question arises that can people of age 40 and above should do yoga? For them just keep in mind that Yoga is a medium through which you can contact with the pure soul present inside you. At the age of 40 and above 40+ tension start gathering up your mind. At this time it is important that one should do Yoga to keep their mind calm and stress-free.

योगा जीवन जीने की एक शैली है सुबह सुबह योगा करने से पूरा दिन ताज़गी से बीतता है 35 वर्ष की उम्र और उससे अधिक उम्र के सभी लोगो को कम से कम 15 मिनट डेली योगा करना चाहिए।

योगा जीवन जीने का वैज्ञानिक तरीका है यह हमारी धरोहर है!योग से शरीर में रक्तसंचरण निर्बाध गति से होता हैऔर व्यक्ति स्वस्थ रहताहै!योगासे40+महिलायें अत्यन्त लाभान्वित होंगी!योग से जोड़ने केलिए उन्हें प्रेरितऔरआकर्षितकरना पड़ेगा!योगसेउन्हें अवसाद से मुक्ति मिलेगी,मानसिक शांति मिलगी वे स्वस्थ होंगी तथा संस्कार में योग अपने बच्चों को भी देंगी!प्राथमिक विद्यालय से उच्च शिक्षा तक,सभी सरकारी-गैरसरकारी संस्थानो ,पीएचसी,एचससी पर योग की व्यवस्था होनी चाहिए जिससे स्वस्थ रचनात्मक सात्विक समाज का निर्माण होगा!
