Newsletters and updates from Indian embassy and consulates should be enabled. This facility is already there, but we don't receive information even after signing up multiple times. It is very important for us to keep in touch with Indian administration abroad. This shall be the highest priority.

Indian consulate in San Francisco, USA where a million Indian citizens live takes 1 complete day to attest one single document. Visitors have to go there and wait outside rest of the day. Verification and signing on it takes less than 10 mins, then why are we made to wait outside the whole day. The staff is not friendly either, they hold the same "Sarkaari" attitude even while serving abroad.

Armed with the new Land Acquisition Ordinance let Indian Railways acquire 300-ft of land on either side of existing rail tracks running interstate. Such newly acquired land be used for "Make In India." Lease such land to entrepreneurs to make Railway Fixtures, anything GOI or Indian Defense forces need in every State bringing labor to work there from crowded metros every day. Pay market compensation to farmers who give land for "Make in India". This is Win Win for IR & Make in India for India!

Hi..there are many points but would highlight important one. Additional Services 1.Online user friendly visa Process - Require more user friendly visa process. May be short video of entire process on home page is good idea. 2. Visa Fees - Always challenge to do this either bank transfer or in Post. - Should accept credit/debit cards at embassy. 3.Timings - Limited timings for application submission, passport collection. Timings should be flexible. 4.Marketing/Branding/Awareness.

I am working in Saudi Arabia from past 6 yrs, and my experience with embassy is very worst, below are few points 1. No neatness and Hygiene are maintained 2. They work very unprofessional way 3. They forget to respect people and there perception is as they are talking to servants 4.There is no proper Information Kiosk 5. No Service oriented mentality still thinking that they are bosses with no control on them. 6. Buildings/interior of embassies do not reflect any Indianness

Although my work was done at the end of the day, however,it's always not about getting the job done, the way it is being executed, hospitality also matters.I always thought that Visiting Indian Embassy in USA would be a small flavor of India, but, to my disappointment, clerical staff is rude, unprofessional. If we are being charged for getting the passports signed,we've a right to expect a little respect, humility and professionalism from the staff. In addition, every thing is expensive at embassy

Please train the employees at the embassies to smile and do their duties with enthusiasm and not think of their duties as a burden. They should also learn to make people comfortable and not scare them. A good smile and nice work can steal millions of hearts including indians and our foreign guests.

Few things for embassies - 1. Embassies should do activities to exhibit indian culture across the world. 2. Embassies should hold big independence day and republic day celebration in which most indian in that area should participate. 3. Embassies should collaborate with indian community in their area and come up with plans to solve problems back in the country.
