Our embassy in Bern, Switzerland is not professional at all. No body pick phone or reply mail. condition of library is in bad condition. Overall we need to hire trained ppl with right attitude. Tried to find some scientific expert there but couldnt find. We need to have ppl from various background who could pursue India's interest not just guys who qualify certain exams and become face of India ex India is suppose to be world leader in IT but doesnt reflect in govt organization. Hope for best.

Dear Pm, why do Indian HCs refuse to accepts documents in Gujarati or any other Indian languages eg school leaving certificate from Gujarat schools They will only accept documents in English. This means affidavits ie we have to end up spending lot of money just to satisfy IHC.

Hello, I hold a british passport with PIO (Person of Indian Origin) Card. In the website it was stated that its easier for PIO holders to apply and get OIC card. But when i applied to the embassy in Birmingham, UK they told me to prove my Origin and that they need to verify my mother's and father's passport (they are Indian Passport holders). So is'nt my PIO card supposed to be the proof of my origin? Would the PIO be automatically changed into OIC as the respected PM Modi had said?

Dear PM Narendrabhai. When you come to UK, I strongly recommned that you spend a morning, from 6:00 am to 8:00 at at London HC, or Birmingham Consulate. People have to qiuue from early morning, outside in cold, and then only a few get seen.Considering NRIs, both Real and nor Real Indian contribute so much to Indain economy, surely you can invest a little bit more in foreign missions to make life a liitle bit easier for us when we come for OCI or passport renewal.

1. E-VOTING facility should be provided so that we can vote for our candidate in India. This will enhance our connectivity and interest with India. 2. Indian staff at embassies shall be very humble, supportive and responsible.

Applied for OCI acard in April last year for family of four. Initial application was to BLS, inc. Contracted by Indian embassy in USA? Paid them ~$1200 via money order. Thir contact was terminated by the embassy and they returned our application without refunding money. I had complained to the Indian embassy last year, provided extensive list of documents to support my complain but still waiting on that refund.

High Commission of India London: 1) Staff is very rude, and work as if they are doing a favour to the people who use their services. 2) Many times heard about they charging illegally large amount of money for "photocopying" of documents even whenever unnecessary. 3) Do mislead and give wrong information to email phone queries. 4) Very inefficient and have introduced unwanted red-tape bureaucracy to harass people or get some money out of them illegally.

Embassy people in Houston treat is as family business and treat their customers as if they are doing for free. Typical Indian govt lazy and careless attitude.
