What the Hon'ble Union Minister, Shri Jitendra Singh has suggested regarding making good use of the experience of the Central Government Retirees, is not some observation made of the cuff, to be treated as ornamental. The Department concerned, Department of Pensioners', perhaps, is required take note of the Hon'ble Union Minister's observation to put in place an institutionalized mechanism in this regard. ONE HOPES THOSE CONCERNED ARE LISTENING -- AND NOT REMAINING CASUAL.

Sailing in the same boat, I personally feel that the experience of the Central Government Retirees goes down the drain. If we leave aside those Retirees who come from some sort of technical side, there's hardly anything that a CG Retiree can contribute based on his experience on his own. It is because the CG Retirees who had had long -long stint in the Central Secretariat or its attached and subordinate Offices, HAVE EXPERIENCE ON POLICY AND IMPLEMENTATION WHICH HE CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT.

The other day, the Union Minister, Shri Jitendra Singh suggested that an institutionalized mechanism be put in place to make good use of the knowledge, experience and efforts of retired employees that can help in the value addition to the current scenario. This suggestion has come from the Minister in the Union Cabinet. HENCE, ONE CAN SAFELY PRESUME THAT IT IS NOT A STRAY THOUGH JUST TO BE SAID ON AN OCCASION, AND, FORGOTTEN NEVER TO BE THOUGHT ABOUT AGAIN.

The village youths are aimless and are not getting proper training in skills.
