As part of citizen engagement & consultation process (for preparation of Smart City Proposal) Tirupati Municipal Corporation organized a wide range of activities - e.g. Ward level consultations, Stakeholders Consultations, essay writing competition etc starting from 1stOct 2015 to 20th Nov 2015. Apart from this, other social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, MCT Website) used to reach citizens of Tirupati.

At the end of the Round-1 citizen consultation process, MCT received overwhelming response from its citizens which helped in arriving at priority sectors for development, vision and goals, smart solutions.On the basis of suggestions received from citizens of Tirupati, MCT with its consultants has prepared a Draft Smart City Proposal for Tirupati City. MCT had taken an utmost care in preparation of draft proposal and incorporated citizen’s voices in the form of projects and sub-projects.

Now, MCT invite all citizens of Tirupati to participate in this process (Round-2 Citizen Engagement) and suggest for improvement of the proposal. Specific and brief suggestions would help us in converting them as projects.
