People from all walks of the life such as academicians, government officials, engineers, lawyers, medical professionals, labourers, information technology professionals, women’s groups, trade unions, marginalized groups, differently abled, student and youth organisations are becoming part of this democratic process. The traditional media and social media are becoming vibrant with the discussions on Smart Jammu.

It is time we who love our city come and put our heads together and find smart solutions to long standing problems like waste management and parking and traffic management. As the city expands, it is also time we start identifying emerging problems and offset them with smart solutions. It is also time to create a hassle free administration. Please express your opinions on Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats of Jammu City.

Hon. PM decision of demonatisation has been welcome by all the small,medium and honest catagory people, the out flow of money are materially in market, but, if the notes of rs.500/= available from all the ATM, all the problem can be immediately solved and small and medium catagory people will be happy, some of the unloyal staff of banks are not providing the required amount of depositer, eventhough, they have enough cash,or duality approach, use of ATM will resolve that issues, best wishes

Hon.PM has great vision of digitisation and doing sincere effort to make maximum use of advance technology in computer and day to day transactions by people, for the which the advance software technology should be developed, I want to suggest that, there should be some common software development programme for common govt. work, e.i, gram panchayat record software, jilla panchayat,municipality, corporation,local body, collector office record etc.. type General software to use by all,best wishes

S: Communal harmony Strategically near punjab delhi W: private Transport system Encroachment of roads footpath lands open drainage system Lack of modern sewarage disposal system Lack of parking facilities Less empowerment of Jmc O:tourism and creation of condusive environment for industries in the region Proper bus stops Parking places Public librariy Sports club Commecial hub Wifi center T: Land encroachment Flood from tawi and internal nallahs

Regarding the smart city proposal for Jammu I wish to emphasize on the other projects 1. LIBRARY:-Opening a public library for commoners or upgradation of ranbir library. 2. Sports club or public gym khana for youth 3. More machinery and man power to take over the encroached roadsides & footpath 4. Parking facilities 5. Coverage of open drainage system. 6. Introduce Govt. Transportation system within city 7.subsidiary on solar heater 8.commercial plaza 9. Railway station & airport ex

Sir! Don't u thnk that it shud be cmplsry evn for all grls & women to wear a helmet while drvng a 2-wheeler? Plz bring sme change in Trffc Rules also.furthermore I rlly appreciate ur revolutionary step taken agnst black money & corruption.Bt do u know that wth the hlp of leading bank officials like managers & all alikes many blckmnyhldrs hv alrdy got succssful in converting their old blackmoney into new currency black money. and to gnrl pblic they say bank is out of cash. Plz take ncssry action.

Strength : The beauty of Jammu. Make Jammu & Kashmir the tourist hub. Involve the people of Jammu to develop tourism. Weakness: Their weakness as of now is terrorism. Educate the people. Get the people into confidence. rehabilitate ppl. Opportunity: Strength itself is an opportunity. Develop that strength. Give importance to tourism. create jobs. Threats: people can be easily provoked by the terrorists as they are insecure. break that trend. Make them feel secure.

Hon. PM has made great decision of demonetisation of currency notes of rs.1000,500, I want to suggest that, day by day waiting period and ques are decreasing for deposit and exchange, some banks are not providing withdrawal money as per prescribed limit due to non availability of enough cash flows,further,ATM are quickly recaliberate the system, but still remained non availability in many cases due to cash flows shortages, hence,if few days enough cash will be supplied,position will be ok,thanks

Designate separate spaces for fruit/vegetable sellers, hawkers, rehries etc away from roads. Ban discharge of all wastes into Tawi river and ban cutting of trees within municipal limits. Plant new trees within core city areas. Link all properties, residential, commercial, agriculture, open land, plots, shops, etc with Adhaar and/or PAN card of the owner. Impose property tax to people having multiple residential properties or multiple commercial properties or multiple vehicles.
