Karimnagar city in the state of Telangana has been selected by Government of India (GoI) to participate and prepare a Smart City Proposal (SCP) under the flagship programme - Smart City Mission (SCM).
The Smart City Proposal should capture aspirations of the citizens about Karimnagar and their inputs for formulating a vision statement and strategies for the development of city.
In this regard, Municipal Corporation Karimnagar requests its citizens and other stakeholders to come forward and share their views to make Karimnagar a Smart City.
The last date to submit comments is 30 November, 2016.

Waste management could be a phased approach - In phase 1, we could install the DIY kits for BioGas across a spectrum of potential waste generating areas be it - individual residences, large apartment complexes, community areas, marriage halls & even IT parks & Institutions with large self-run kitchens. In the phase 2, we could consider setting up of a plant to treat Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) using a Hydro Mechanical process, to recover recyclables & produce renewable energy.

My suggestion is a more generic one, applies to all cities. The main problem of traffic in India is due to blocked traffic junctions.Following is a way to make signal free junctions 1.Let each road have 3 lanes 2.Make 3 single lane flyovers to connect the rightmost lane of each road with the the rightmost lane of the right side diagonally opposite road. 3. Then make underpasses for the straight traffic from the middle lane.

Roads to be repaired, waste management should happen, street lights should function, sanitation should be implemented, parking facilities needs to improved,main roads should be repaired and maintained well, tourism should also improved , public toilets, public parks in local and traffic lights should also implement..... hope these requests will be consider for achieving smart city status for karimnagar city

Hon. PM has made great decision of demonatisation of currency of rs. 1000, 500, I want to suggest that, the Hon. FM,RBI, various banks and team are doing sincere work to regularise the shortages of new notes, Recaliberation of ATM etc. trying to quick activation, but, some monitoring is also required by authority, e.i., In some bank of urban and city area, cash is not received and paid for last 4 days, hence, to provide money only for withdrawal from bank account should be enough,best wishes

In respect to great decision of hon.PM of demonatisation of currency of rs. 1000 & 500, all the common and middle class people are welcome the action against corruption and anti national activities,I want to suggest that,it is also welcome decision to make sign on hand for person replacing the money by special Ink,further, the drawings of amount of cash to be withdrwals should be fix per week with only one instance per week,so that, unnecessary rush can be avoided,so relief to real person,thnks

Set proper parking in city To develope Karimnagar as smart tourism city is best becz lmd elagandhal fort are in city so need to plan for construct as best smart tourism already state govt as study in lmd development as sabarmathi branch in Gujarat and build new parks, gardens at there. As smart knr increase the production of waste of plastic and from other drainage wastage.. To clean every where.. In city.. Implement the censor at led street lights.. As cyber protect as also implement must..

Consider solutions for Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) with a handling capacity of up to 400 tonnes per shift of residential and/or commercial MSW, accepting both unsorted and/or sorted waste streams, with its Heterogeneity, Variability, Abrasiveness and Wetness that successfully treats MSW using a Hydro Mechanical process, to recover recyclables and produce renewable energy.
