Karimnagar city in the state of Telangana has been selected by Government of India (GoI) to participate and prepare a Smart City Proposal (SCP) under the flagship programme - Smart City Mission (SCM).
The Smart City Proposal should capture aspirations of the citizens about Karimnagar and their inputs for formulating a vision statement and strategies for the development of city.
In this regard, Municipal Corporation Karimnagar requests its citizens and other stakeholders to come forward and share their views to make Karimnagar a Smart City.
The last date to submit comments is 30 November, 2016.

Public safety,let's pass a rule of allowing vehicles to park only if they have a helmet.We can implement this at pratima multiplex,busatand,and many other parking places.This ensures atlest few people Will start using helmets.Then coming to parks,we can have jogger's park with greenery. Atleast one per two wards. Which also helps in employment and also good for environment.

To start a new mission,we should complete the mission which we started earlier.Let's take under ground drainage system in karimnagar.They digged the roads and made them worst,never repaired them and deployed pipes under the roads in such a way that the chamber's top comes out of the road ,like dividing the road into two halves.First let's fix the problems which are already there in a smart way.There should be a proper coordination with municipal dept.and roads dept,that is also a smart thinking.

first focus on the basic needs of water and drainage system.We should have a closed drainage or underground drainage system.Next focus should be on garbage disposal,use smart methods like treatment plants for garbage.Now focus on extension of roads and smart parking mechanism.Also new methods of generating electricity like solar and wind energy.Bus stations in the city should be modernized.Greenery should be improved.
