Karimnagar city in the state of Telangana has been selected by Government of India (GoI) to participate and prepare a Smart City Proposal (SCP) under the flagship programme - Smart City Mission (SCM).
The Smart City Proposal should capture aspirations of the citizens about Karimnagar and their inputs for formulating a vision statement and strategies for the development of city.
In this regard, Municipal Corporation Karimnagar requests its citizens and other stakeholders to come forward and share their views to make Karimnagar a Smart City.
The last date to submit comments is 30 November, 2016.

Change the name to Kalaam Hagar..on a lighter note I propose to make a group of engineers from the alumni of my college Shri Guru Govindsingji College of Engineering Nanded Maharashtra. We shall work with government officials, will involve red and ethics year students,they can work on it as their project. Alumni working in different fields and willing to contribute will monitor this and can suggest some really innovative and out of box ideas.

ABHILASH Reddy of vaageswari )have implement the idea about laying of used plastic which is waste in million tons every year should be used in road construction. Plastic in case road construction. As we know the plastic is used road construction, some of its advantages are there will no potholes or strippings are occurred. There will be skid resistance and no water stagnation occurs. The lifespan of the plastic road is double than the bitumen road. Comparing the two roads plastic road leads in higher lifespan, the cost analysis of the plastic road is lesser than the bitumen road. So sir, we hope for the betterment and clean society. Dear sir, we the students of karinmnagar,Vivekananda institute of technology and sciences have done a project on USE OF PLASTIC WASTE IN ROAD CONSTRUCTION.nowadays we are wasting million tons of plastic (polysters,polypropylene,polystyrene, Poly vinyl chloride) per year in INDIA. This is resulting in a great harm to the society by way of the toxic (poisonous gases). Which at last resulting in deadly diseases like breast cancer etc,. So we would like to implement the ideas based on reuse of

Karimnagar is very small city when compared with other cities in our state eventho the city don't have internal city buses and bus stops Karimnagar city don't have sufficient parking area so provide it properly Even our municipal office also don't have sufficient and proper parking area and no parking shed
