It is indeed true that the requirement is to find an amicable solution for the high dropout ratio of girl child. I think the first step should be to attach the making of toilets in schools with the MPLAD scheme with the provision of providing an acknowledgement in the public space for such MPs who fullfill this obligation satisfactorily. We can also introduce some special privileges for such MPs in the parliamentary primises like, providing them seperate places to sit from the other ones etc.

it is seen that making toilet in school or any public place is easier but maintaining the same is very difficult.so maintenance of toilets should be outsourced to SULABH SAUCHALAY or similar agencies to maintain the same on regular basis with strict vigil by highest authority i.e. not less than Principal/headmaster of the school

construction of toilets in schools is not a big issue but main problem came at the time of maintenance.. school should be responsible for this task by giving the charge to female teachers, teachers should told cleaners or sweepers how to do nd what to do... this should help to maintain the toilets.. for extra care students should told the incharge teacher that they are facing that problem.. if a incharge teacher or cleaner is not taking his/her job seriously then they should be punished

cleaning and maintenance activities to be done by teachers, children and other users on a regular basis. Minor repairs and preventive maintenance such as greasing, bolts, fixing taps, cracks, and broken doors, once a week at least. Major repairs such as the repairs that cannot be done by children, teachers or their parents. They can be referred to the village mechanic, a block mechanic or engineering divisions.

Allow sufficient time for the children to use the latrine. Fill water storage containers in the morning and refill them at mid-day or when needed. Provide each latrine with a bucket, mug and a cleaning brush. provide each handwashing facility with a bucket, mug and soap. Allow drinking water to be stored in containers with covers and have at least one ladle and two tumblers. It is useful to have a platform to raise the containers off the ground and to have soap for wash vessels & tumblers
