Kakinada Municipality in its endeavors of citizen consultations in Round 1 of the "Smart City Mission" City Challenge has initiated through various mediums such as discussion at MyGov, Essay writing and Logo designing competition, online (including Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms). Also to reach the door steps of the citizens by organizing mobile van and took video interview of citizens along with the their written submissions to derive the peoples aspirations about Kakinada Smart City.
Subsequently Pan city smart solutions and Area based Development have been taken up for voting on MyGov poll after identifying the issues. In the second Round of voting also the citizen response was huge. Volunteers across the Kakinada city helped people to vote their preferences of Area based Development and Pan-city smart solutions for Kakinada.
In Round 2 of the "Smart City Mission" City Challenge, as part of the process, Kakinada Municipality is organizing an online talk where prominent citizens will take up the Pan-city smart solutions and Area Based Development issue suggested by the citizen through voting for discussion. Citizens may post their questions and participate in discussion online by login to MyGov. The Talk session will be
