Operation Sindoor reminds us that freedom is not given, it is guarded — with sweat, soil, and sindoor. Behind every soldier in uniform stands a family in silent prayer, a mother with teary strength, and a wife whose sindoor carries both pride and fear. I request you to honour not just martyrs but also their families through “Sindoor Samman”—a national gesture of gratitude for the silent strength behind the soldier. Let every citizen write letters, plant trees, or light diyas on Independence Day in memory of those who loved the nation beyond self. Jai Hind.
In today’s digital world, we often make friends online and start sharing personal details, emotions, and even private photos without thinking much. But not all online friends are real. Many youths fall into traps of fake emotional bonding, leading to blackmail, stress, and guilt. Sadly, they stay silent out of shame. I request you to launch a campaign like “Dil Se Digital” to spread awareness on emotional safety in cyberspace. Through posters, school sessions, and real stories, let’s teach students that digital trust should be slow, mindful, and safe. Just like passwords protect devices, boundaries must protect hearts. Let’s build not just Digital India, but Emotionally Safe India.

Respected Sir,
Through this message, I wish to share a heartfelt thought that arises from something we see every day but often overlook — the silent dignity of our daily wage workers.
Across India, from metro cities to small towns, there are countless individuals who work as house-helps, security guards, delivery workers, cleaners, and rickshaw-pullers. They work tirelessly, often with long hours and very little rest, not just for survival, but to support their families, educate their children, and live a life of dignity. And yet, many of them are not treated with the respect they deserve. They are spoken to harshly, called by their first names or worse, and often made to feel “less than.” Their hard work is taken for granted, and their humanity is forgotten.I believe true development does not just come from GDP or infrastructure, but from how we treat the hands that build that development. My humble suggestion:India should introduce a nationwide initiative such as “Manav Samman
Echoing Milan Kundera, it can be said that the struggle of man against injustice is the struggle of memory against forgetting. In the Great Bengal Famine of 1943, starving people migrating to Calcutta (now Kolkata) died on the streets. When protesters marched against the massive starvation deaths, Bengali communists attacked them because Britain and the U.S.S.R were then wartime allies. One night, some protesters stealthily laid dead bodies of starved people along the outer boundary wall of the Governor’s Residence (now Raj Bhavan). The British Governor did not care. Army Lorries took the bodies away. The irony is that all of the subsequent Bharatiya Rajyapals eagerly occupied that pompous palace. Did none of them know that such a unique wreath was once laid around that palace? Starvation death did not care about the religion of the victims. Yet the horrible collective suffering of communities did not deter the Great Calcutta Killing on the Direct Action Day, 16th August 1946.
