Safety and welfare of children is of paramount importance to the Ministry. The government has not only initiated numerous schemes for the overall development of children but has made a positive difference in the lives of children by implementing them at the grassroots level. We still have a long way to go and we solicit the support of parents, civil society and media to help further our endeavour in making every child feel safe.

The Ministry is undertaking a comprehensive exercise to design a safe neighbourhood for our children. We urge all of you to join our intervention by sending your suggestions on how to make every Child feel safe.

You can post your suggestions in the comments section or email us at: suggestions.mwcd@gmail.com

The best way to conduct crime against women is not just the death penalty against rapist but also to publish it to the public. This can happen through news, tv etc. I want to add one more thing in my Anti-rape/harassment plan.Search for Travellight on YouTube and watch one of her video's about India. "typ Travellight India''. There you will see a video titled ''What happened in India''. She was sexual harassed in a hotel in Paharganj,Delhi. Please investigate it and hang those culprits in public

-Public flogging should be given as a punishment for harassment. - Have a Anti-Romeo squad on the Internet as well. Nowadays a lots of sexual harassment happens on the Internet as well. They should be punished hard as well. This can make sure that they won't do sexual harassment on streets as well.

Anti-harassment plan: -Ban every single Bollywood movie which portrays women in a bad way. They should'nt be allowed to be sold and be allowed to make it. Ban those movies as well who have already been made. They shouldn't be allowed to be sold and download further. Ban sex and kissing as well in Bollwood. -Ban dating sites since that is being used by men to harass women. -Put the Anti-Romeo squad in tourist areas as well and make tourist feel safer in India.

My anti-rape plan: -Give death penalty to rapist regardless the age of the victim they have raped. -review those rape cases happened in the past where the culprits haven't receive the death penalty and give them the death penalty. -Make sure that rapist are tortured badly before their execution and show it live on tv. You can decide to put them in labour camps where they will be tortured badly and eventually being killed. -Teach men to respect women through speeches and education.
