The transport system is Tirunelveli needs to be improved. The condition of the state goverment buses is worse than in other parts of Tamil Nadu.
Also many people from Tirunelveli work in Northern districts. So speed up the Chennai - Tirunelveli double track projecta and increase the number of trains to Tirunelveli district.

The recent issue of Thamirabarani river water being given to Pepsi&Co, must be stopped. The quality of water in the river being extra ordinary, extensive care must be taken to prohibit the mixing of domestic and other wastes in the river. Greenery in the field must be promoted as per my view. Tirunelveli being famous for halwa, the production of it must be encouraged and promoted worldwide..

One more important thing. Everyone is talking about pepsi&co being granted permission use Tamirabarani's water. This should be cancelled immediately. Tamirabarani is the lifeline of Tirunelveli and Tutucorin. It cant be comprised for anything on earth.

The municipal workers collect wastes from every house every morning. but still people are throwing wastes into the channel.Only punishment can set things right. those who spit in public places, throw wastes on water bodies should be punished with hefty fines.and the agricultural lands are being converted into houses.I dont know who gives approval for this. And everyhouse should have atleast 2 trees.I want my city to be clean and green.Only then it will be worth to be converted into a smart city.

I want my city to be a green city rather than a smart city. First, use of plastic should be banned or brought under control. A while ago, the city administration emphasized on using fabric bags and punished some outlets which issued plastic carry bags. then the outlets started using fabric bags. but now no one watches over this and everything is back to plastic bags. and many people are throwing plastic bags on rovers and channels. The channel near my home is a dustbin for the residents.
