पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र में यदि तेल और गैस का दोहन उचित रूप से किया जाये तो यह उस क्षेत्र के लोगों के लिए आर्थिक समृद्धि का एक स्रोत हो सकता है। वर्तमान में क्षेत्र के स्‍थानीय समुदायों और अन्‍वेषण तथा उत्‍पादन प्रचालकों के बीच कोई संपर्क नहीं है। इससे क्षेत्र में अन्‍वेषण और उत्‍पादन संबंधी कार्यों में कमी आ रही है और इसने इस क्षेत्र में परिचालन के लिए खरीदार की संख्या को कम कर दिया है। हालांकि भारत सरकार ने पूर्वोत्‍तर क्षेत्र में अन्‍वेषण और उत्‍पादन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए अनेक पहलें शुरू की है लेकिन इस प्रक्रिया में स्‍थानीय समुदायों की भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करना आवश्यक है।

इस कार्य में स्थानीय लोगों की भागीदारी कैसे बढाई जा सकती है, इससे संबंधित सुझाव दें।

Whatever measures the Municipal Corporation, JALANDHAR takes on various aspects of up-keep of the city san participation of people at large. The Municipal Authorities move forward in such a way that what to talk of participation, the residents feel alienated. The result is what shall inevitably be -- the efforts of the MC HARDLY GET SEEN AND FELT. FURTHERMORE, THE MONEY SPENT ON DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES VERY EASILY GO DOWN THE DRAIN. THE MC CONTRACTORS ARE ALWAYS AT EASE, SURE NOT TO CAUGHT.

If I were to say about my city, JALANDHAR, the Municipal Corporation (MC) need to learn a lesson or two as to how essential is it to seek and encourage, and if need be beseech public participation in making city free from filth and dirt. The local body authorities, however well intended they might be, can't have the results of their schemes and programmes for public good, TILL THE AUTHORITIES ENCOURAGE PEOPLE'S ENTHUSIASTIC PARTICIPAION. THIS ESSENTIALLY HOLDS GOOD FOR OTHER CITIES AS WELL.

What is good for Exploration & Production in the North-Eastern Region in terms of people's participation in activities from which the whole area stands to gain, is equally good for other Regions, rather, it can be said, for cities in the country. The more the stake-holders to a cause the more the probable success of it. IT IS SURE TO PAY RICH DIVIDENDS IF THE LOCAL BODIES MAKE IT A POINT TO SEEK PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN ATTENDING TO LOCAL ISSUES. PEOPLE NEED TO BE ENCOURAGED TO COME FORWARD.

departments at the central and local levels will establish a Internet management system.to help this co-operative societies The system will also be open to the public — allowing people to access information about the operation and sharing of scientific facilities. The co-operative system will be categorized to facilitate public use — according to the capabilities of the scientific facilities and equipment. Departments which provide equipment sharing services can charge

Sir, I and my complete group voted for u a were very happy when u came to power. Par yeh badey dukh ki baat hai ki"u r promoting industries too much" but not taking steps to increase forest area of our country. why r u thinking only for human beings and not for animals. they too have life. Aap jiw kalyan karo not just manushya kalyan. plz sir.

Polythene ban : this is also very dangerous problem arising in India, many times govt imposed such bans but nobody following these bans. People are using plastic bags openly.Please ban it completely and strictly for the sake of human existence.this is a time bomb kind of thing more dangerous than atom bomb.People are ignoring this plastic issue but this may become a risk in whole human existence one day.Please take this seriously this is a big danger for our future.

50% of landfills and garbage forms because of plastic bags, waste material like kitchen waste and other kind of soluble items don't get mixed with soils because they are being packed in poly bags 5. Most of the plastic bags directly go to sea and pollute it.already a part of sea as large as a continent, became a plastic poisonous patch area near pacific sea. 6. Many people burn plastic garbage to get rid of that, which is a killing effect on human lungs,

Hydrocarbon exploration co-operative societies is only better solution of Exploration and Production activities in NE areas-- here matter is every local citizen are owner and worker of the societies.., No need of private or public Exploration and Production companies--involvement .. only thing is my respected PM will be leader of group societies
