Karimnagar city in the state of Telangana has been selected by Government of India (GoI) to participate and prepare a Smart City Proposal (SCP) under the flagship programme - Smart City Mission (SCM).
The Smart City Proposal should capture aspirations of the citizens about Karimnagar and their inputs for formulating a vision statement and strategies for the development of city.
In this regard, Municipal Corporation Karimnagar requests its citizens and other stakeholders to come forward and share their views to make Karimnagar a Smart City.
The last date to submit comments is 30 November, 2016.

Roads in karimnagar city are narrow and are completely damaged.Starting of public parks in city and maintaining well which are presently there.Dam in city can be a best boating park.Cleaning Garbage to the sides of roads.Getting good transportation like railway.Modernising all government offices and busstand.

As we are moving toward agreeing paris agreement to generate energy upto 40% via non-fossil fuels, it would add on to overall automobile industry to deploy solar panel on the roof of a car which can translate the solar energy into electric energy to support a car run a few miles. Almost all cars stands & run outside under shine of sun. This will reduce the dependence on electricity to run a car as manufacturers are running for. Govt. subsidy would be a boon in early phase of its adoption.

In respect to smart city, the basic requirement of people are safety, security, clean atmosphere, pollution free atmosphere, possibilities of ideal employment, growth and development of region with all the facilities required by the people for day to day need for living comfortable life, Peace and spiritual enviornment is also very important for health concious people, all such point should be complied in the area of smart city, so that people can live with happy and peace in life,best wishes
