There should be separate toilets for women in each and ever schools for govt. funded schools special inspection team need to setup for timely visit and reporting. For privately funded schools there should be specific regulations for girls toilets, which need to be followed before giving affiliation and there should be periodic review of affiliation based on such points. Affiliation allotted to schools till date should be reviewed on basis of sanitation facility to set a standard for all schools.

We usually find that there ia a lack of toilets in gov schools and children have to go in open areas. This is the main problem especially for girl students. And for this reason they don't want to go to school. So there must be proper sanitation facility in each and every school. Clean and hygienic toilets must be there with proper clean water facility as well as it must be safe too. There must be separate bathrooms for girls having proper facilities for them. Girls are the future of any nation.

awareness of restroom hygiene and cultivate social graciousness. The main objective of engaging students in these community service projects is to encourage peer to peer teaching letting students learn from one another about good etiquette practices The school would be required to complete the education and project phase within the same year initiated to be considered for assessment.the concerned teacher should check the qualifications and cleaning routines of all cleaners of the school.

The school management and the teacher in charge should be involved in the project that focuses on 3 key areas; projects for students to engage in (with education programmes), checking the standards of the cleaners and assessing the design of the toilets. The theme of ACTIONS or Appreciating Clean Toilets In Our Neighbourhood and School will be adopted via a series of assembly talks and workshop, the teacher in charge should identify a group of students to undertake a project to raise awareness

Sanitation is the most important part of school and due to rising crimes against girls it has been of upmost importance to have the safe and clean sanitation facilities . The 1st thing that every school must have is a better and ample sanitation so that children don't have to wait much and the most important thing is the person responsible for maintaining toilets must be a lady and we must have a counselling session with every student that they themselves must be alert regarding the person

1. Toilets should be part of the same building as the classrooms. 2. For younger students, (KG to 5 STD. for e.g) toilets could be provided attached to the classroom itself. 3. In a co-ed schools, girl toilets ratio (student/toilet ratio) should be less, i.e more toilets per student. 4. Maintenance can be done via private partnership. Regular feedback should be sought from students and faculties and linked to payments. 5. There should be convenient toilets for specially abled
